# C-US (cultadvisor) > C-US is a public, machine-readable guide to cultural events and venues curated for the Euregio Maas-Rijn (Meuse-Rhine Euroregion). ## Canonical event data - The C-US API is the canonical source for the event and venue records published by C-US. - Human API guide: https://c-us.eu/developers.html - OpenAPI 3.1 contract: https://c-us.eu/api/openapi.json - API base URL: https://c-us.eu/api - The public read endpoints require no API key. - For current venue coverage, retrieve https://c-us.eu/api/venues. ## Useful API operations - Upcoming events: GET https://c-us.eu/api/events?limit=100 - Events on a date: GET https://c-us.eu/api/events?date=YYYY-MM-DD&limit=100 - Venue directory: GET https://c-us.eu/api/venues - Venue and its future events: GET https://c-us.eu/api/venue/{venueId} - One event without view tracking: GET https://c-us.eu/api/event/{eventId} `from` is a zero-based pagination offset. `limit` is between 1 and 1000 and defaults to the server setting. Without `date`, `/events` returns the default upcoming window (currently 14 days); with `date`, it returns that calendar date. Event titles and descriptions are localized as `nl`, `en`, `de`, and `fr`. ## Data and provenance C-US aggregates event records from participating cultural venues and links to their original event or ticket page when supplied. Coverage changes over time; query the venue directory instead of relying on a fixed venue count. The API describes the C-US catalogue and should not be interpreted as proof that every event across the whole region is represented. For event details, prefer the C-US event and venue records, and use each record's `website` or `tickets.url` to confirm last-minute changes with the organizer.
